Zella Deto

FERRON - Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Zella Marie Deto, age 78, returned to her Heavenly Father July 24, 2017 surrounded by her family. Zella was born September 10, 1938 in Ferron, Utah to Arnold and Amy Wayman. Zella was the youngest of four with two older brothers and a sister. She married the love of her life Michael Deto July 10, 1971. They later solemnized their marriage in the Manti Temple on September 23, 1972. She lived her life surround by her family and many friends. She had a love for gardening, quilting, crocheting, and the gospel. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In her earlier years she served a mission for the LDS Church in London, England. She enjoyed spending days with her family especially her grandchildren. You could often find her under the big tree on the lawn watching as they played around her. Zella was loved by all who knew her. Zella is survived by her husband Mike; children Cammie (Jeff) Curtis, Andy (Christy) Deto, Eddie (Brenda) Deto, and Dustin (Kimberly) Deto, grandchildren Tineka (Ethan) Mangum, Cassidy (Andrew) Madsen, Cheyenne, Jorden, Amy, Kaydee, Ean, Autum, Tyler, Taysen, Dylan, one great granddaughter on the way, sister-in-law Audra Wayman, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Loydell and Arnold, sister Joyce Powell, brother-in-law John Powell and her best friend Shay. Zella will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A viewing will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 at 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Red Brick Church on the Hill in Ferron. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Ferron Stake Center with a viewing from 12:00-12:45 prior to services. Interment will follow in the Ferron Cemetery entrusted to Fausett Mortuary of Emery County. Family and friends may sign the guestbook and share memories of Zella at www.fausettmortuary.com.
