William Craig

William John "Bill" Craig, beloved husband and father, on Monday, April 25, 2011, departed this mortal life, surrounded by his sweetheart and children. Bill was born on February 11, 1927 in Winter Quarters, UT to Willard Craig and Verda Rosella Willis. He married the love of his life, Maurine Waterman of Price, UT; on June 25, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple. They have spent their 63 years of married life in Price, Utah raising their children; Diana (Roger) DeFriez of Bountiful, UT; Ellen Joan (Barry) Atwood of Price, UT; Janet (Lyon) Hazleton of Monticello, UT; William John (Shelly) Craig of San Antonio, TX; Franceen (Francis) Jones North Ogden, UT; David Bruce (Susan) Craig Lehi, UT. His sisters are; Regina Johnson of Price, UT; Sandra (Jed) Morley of Spanish Fork, UT. Bill's greatest love in life was his family. He often "found" time to be on the golf course, fishing or hunting with his family or friends. He was always active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a strong and unwavering testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ. He spent his life serving in various callings throughout the church. One of his joys was working in the Manti Temple, serving as an ordinance worker. He left a legacy of love, service, music, laughter and card playing. He is preceded in death by brothers; Calvin Craig and Val Shields. He will be greatly missed by his 6 children, 29 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday April 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Price 4th and 5th Ward LDS Building, 545 E 400 N. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary, 680 E 100 S and Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 at the church prior to the services.
