Obituary written by Wilder C. Neider
Born in Nebraska to very kind parents, raised in Idaho till age 15, ran away and joined Merchant Marine, stayed 4 years and obtained a Marine Steam Engineer License, back to Boise where I tried building trades, quit in disgust over Law Carpenters wages, went to work at 20 for a Regional Freight Carrier where I learned to drive big rigs - Back to Merchant Marines through Korean conflict at the end of the Korean War moved to Reno Nevada where I went back to driving, stayed at Teamsters occupation for the next 42 years, retired from consolidated Freightways after 21 years of service. Along the way I was married 3 times. To Jeanette for 12 years where we produced 4 girls, later married Vern Lee for 12 weeks, escaped that before she could change me. At age 58 met and married Jo-An who has been a perfect match for me, we have enjoyed a love that I thought I would never find. Between us we had a combined 9 children who I have loved whole heartedly and without reservation - Nieces and nephews galore and I love them all - to those I leave behind, please don't grieve too much, I've had a fantastic run and go reluctantly but without fear because I know that I'm off on a new adventure.
