Viola Winder

Viola Gertrude Craig Moody Winder 1925-2009 ELMO, UT / SPRINGFIELD, MO - Viola (Vi) Gertrude Craig Moody Winder, age 83, passed away March 19, 2009 in Springfield, MO of complications from M.D.S. and age. Viola was the daughter of Guy T. and Ida A. Hannah Craig. She was born August 26, 1925 in Greenfield, MO. She had four brothers and three sisters, all deceased. Viola married Harold Moody Sr., February 16, 1946, they later divorced. She married Philip Winder, August 10, 1952. He passed away in May 2005. Viola worked for Kitty Clover in Springfield, MO for 34 years. She then worked along side her beloved Phil in all that he did especially raising cattle. Viola is survived by four children: Harold (Marla) Moody of Springfield, MO, Julia Elizabeth (Price) Vincent-Thrall of Price, UT, Rayola Jean (Gary) Miller of Quincy, IL, and Janice Lee (Elroy) Mortensen of Elmo, UT; 29 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and two deceased grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. the Elmo LDS Chapel (170 East Main Street). A viewing will be Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South - Price, UT) from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Cleveland Town Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
