Vergie Jones

PRICE - Vergie LuDeen Daniels Jones passed away on May 3, 2015 at Utah Valley Hospital, Provo, Utah. She was born on November 26, 1924 to Roger & Delora Daniels in Santaquin, Utah. LuDeen married Parley D. Jones on March 27, 1944 in Ely, Nevada. They made their home in Price, Utah. LuDeen loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, she especially loved the babies. She treasured her moments with her big sister, Ethel, and her brothers. She enjoyed spending time in her yard and doing yard work. She loved her hollyhocks and lilacs. Every year she looked forward to the fresh apricots, peaches and apples on her fruit trees. LuDeen is survived by her children, Linda (Rulon) Parker of Arizona, Parley Conrad Jones of Missouri, Carolyn (Lynn) Kendall of Midway, Lila (Richard) Stevens of Salt Lake City, Bryon (Barbara) Jones of Price, Heidi Jones (Kevin Asay) of Helper, step-children Duane (Erma) Jones of Elmo and Marilyn Jones (Jim Krieg) of California; brothers Roy Daniels, Alfred (Shanna) Daniels, Merrill (Renon) Daniels; 33 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren. LuDeen was preceded in death by her parents; siblings John Daniels, Paul Daniels, Dorothy Allred , Ethel Nielson, Ferrill Daniels, Rawlin Daniels, and Richard Daniels; husband, Parley D. Jones; daughter Loretta Jones; step daughter Glenna Hooley. A viewing will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Fausett Mortuary from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Price North Stake Center, 445 North 100 East, Price, with a viewing one hour prior at the church.
