Elmo: VaNetta Brooks, 86, passed away peacefully March 22, 2024, in Elmo.
She was born July 20, 1937, in Pleasant Grove Utah to Silas Elmer Adams and Martha VaNetta Boulter.
She married Burton Ray Brooks. They were married in Lehi on November 6, 1957, and sealed at the Salt Lake City Temple on January 24, 1963.
VaNetta was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a loving wife, always there for her family when they needed her. She was a businesswoman, super fan of the Utah Jazz and an avid trike-motorcycle traveler.
VaNetta is survived by her husband, Burton Brooks; son, Brent Brooks; daughters, Bonnie Miles (Richard), Becky Brooks, Brenda Hansen (Alvin) and Barbara Brooks (Kelly); her 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Blake Brooks; her brothers, Bryce, Glade, Don, Dean, Elvis; sisters, Arvene and twin LaRetta.
Interment will be at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, with a Celebration of Life later this spring. Arrangements are in the trusted care of Fausett Mortuaries where friends are always welcome and may share memories online at www.fausettmortuary.com.
