Ted Jensen

November 10, 1926 — May 17, 2010

Ted J Jensen Price, Utah-Ted J Jensen devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather crossed the veil to meet his eternal sweetheart on May 17, 2010. Born November 10, 1926, in Orangeville, Utah to Leo Joseph Jensen and Alice Cyrena Davis, he graduated from South Emery High School and Carbon College where he met his sweetheart, Joyce Snow. They were married in the Manti Temple on April 15, 1954. Ted was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific. He was employed at the College of Eastern Utah in business management positions for 39 years. A faithful member of the LDS church, he served in many Ward and Stake positions including Patriarch of the Price Utah Stake. He was the father of five children, nineteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Doug (Patricia), Beaverton, Oregon, Steve (MaryAnn), West Jordan, Utah, Judy (David) Taylor, Rexburg, Idaho, Nancy (Daniel) Park, Alamo, Nevada; son-in-law Erroll (Brenda) Holt, Price, Utah; siblings Blain (Virginia), James (Beulah), Rae Ona (Tom) Huntsman, brother-in-law Delbert Peterson. Proceeded in death by his wife Joyce, loving daughter Carol Anne Holt, parents, and siblings, Lucille, Clive, Thelma and Phyllis Peterson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 22nd at 11 a.m. at the Price LDS 5th Ward Chapel. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 21st from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price, also on Saturday, May 22nd from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior the services at the church. Interment will be at the Orangeville Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guestbook and share memories of Ted at www.fausettmortuary.com.
