Susan Ilene Peterson
Susan Ilene Peterson was born January 14, 1971 to loving parents Gerald and Ilene Hansen. She is the 12th of 14 children. Because of the example of her mother, Susan's main goal was to become a mother herself. She and her husband, Shane Peterson, have 15 beautiful children of their own.
Susan's top priority was to serve our Heavenly Father and love her family. You can easily see that by the positive notes and quotes she has posted in every room of her home.
She loved the Church, learning the gospel and serving others. She was currently serving in the LDS Church as a Relief Society committee member and Primary Activities Leader. She also enjoyed singing in the Choir when possible. Susan set many goals and was in the process of becoming a Limitless mentor/Life Coach.
She found enjoyment in shopping, quilting, creative sewing, painting, photography, outdoor activities with her family, and an occasional girls weekend out with her sisters.
On the evening of Wednesday November 2, 2016, Susan age 45, along with her son James age 23, lost their lives during a tragic incident in their efforts of helping family.
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." -John 15:13
