Shirley Cunningham

Shirley May Cunningham Salt Lake City: Shirley May Smethurst Cunningham age 81, passed away on August 25, 2012 in Price, UT. She was born August 4, 1931 to Leonard and Donna Smethurst in Salt Lake City, UT. Shirley was the kindest, most loving, caring, generous person on earth. She put other's wants and needs above her own throughout her entire life. Even in death her generosity, caring and love shines through by donating her body to research in hopes of helping others. She retired from O.C. Tanner Jewelry Company after 25 years of service. She also worked as a receptionist at St. Mark Towers for 10 years. She loved to dance, shop, and being with others. Her favorite food was KFC Chicken. She cherished her children more than anything in this world. Shirley had many, many friends, and never had an enemy in her entire lifetime. Everyone loved her. She was not only my mother but my best friend. She touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known her. She will be greatly missed by all. Shirley is survived by her children: Shauna M. (Garn) Harris of Price, UT Terry Henry Mosteller of Duschense, UT and Jerry Willis Mosteller of Salt Lake City, UT; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Joyce Stout Gray. There will be no services, since she has so generously donated her body to research.
