Sherry Winder

ELMO- Sherry Colleen Winder, age 72, returned to the loving arms of her husband on March 15, 2025, at Utah Valley Specialty Hospital after a short battle with Pneumonia.

She was born May 20, 1952, in Spanish Fork, Utah to Quinten and Della Peterson Lowe.

Married Richard Oberg in 1973 and they had three children and later divorced. She then married the love of her life Eugene F. Winder on May 2, 1978, and he took on the role of dad to those three children plus they had one child together.

Sherry loved playing bingo and going to Mesquite. She truly enjoyed raising cattle and having her two dogs, Tinker and Sophie by her side. Sherry liked playing computer games as a pastime. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her grandchildren who referred to her as “Grandma Owie”.

Survived by her mother, Della “George” Peterson Lowe; her children, Shirley Smith, Chad (Britanya) Oberg, Jeremy (Tonya) Winder, Trudy (Roger S.) Snider; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; siblings, Reed (Kathy) Lowe, Jackie (David) Perazzo, Amy (Walt) Knudsen, David Lowe.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene; father, Quinten Lowe; in laws, Floyd and Jessie Winder; nephews, Brody Talbot, Adam Perazzo; niece, Stacey Massey; grandson, Tristan Davis.

Graveside service, Friday, March 21, 2025, 11:00 a.m., Cleveland Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday morning from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South) in Price.
