Sharon Wayman

Listen to Service Ferron: - Sharon Kaye Wayman, age 72, returned to her Heavenly Father January 24th, 2015 in Vernal, Utah. She was born August 7th, 1942 in Murray, Utah to William Richard Brown and CammieJauntia Baker. She married Arnold L. Wayman. They were married in Redwood City, CA on February 19th, 1972. Their marriage was solemnized in the Jordan River Temple May 17th, 2008. Sharon was raised in Midvale Utah alongside her twin sister Karen and her older brothers Thamer and Hugh B Brown. She graduated from Jordan High class of 1960 and worked as a Nurses aid at LDS hospital. During this time she helped support her sister Karen who was serving a mission for the LDS church in New Zealand. Sharon attended LPN school. She was the president of her class and graduated as Salutatorian in 1976. She spent many years working at the Emery County Nursing Home where she loved and laughed much with the friends she made, patients and co-workers alike. After retiring from Nursing in 1993 Sharon worked as a seasonal receptionist at the Ferron Forest Service for over 15 years. Sharon had the opportunity to serve a full-time proselyting mission in the New York North Mission at the age of 58. Sharon had a love for poetry which she gained from her mother and enjoyed memorizing literature. Among the things she could quote wereLittle Orphan Annie, The Standard of Truth,The Relief Society Declaration, The Living Christ and The Family: A Proclamation to the World. Sharon also served as a temple worker in the Manti Temple. Sharon's other enjoyments and talents included painting, softball, crafts, and wood work. She had a fabulous sense of humor. She was kindhearted and often found doing something for others. She is survived by her children; Arnie Brown Wayman (Renee Roberts) SLC, Utah and Sandy Wayman (Monte Hardinger) Vernal, Utah, grandchildren; William, Abbie, and Elizabeth Hardinger, and Serena Marie Wayman, brother; Hugh B Brown (Shelia Norton) Tracy, CA, sister; Karen Renee Brown (David Dendler) Ferron, Utah, sister-in-laws; Zella Wayman (Mike Deto) Ferron, Utah, and Dixie Allen (wife of the lateThamer Ellis Brown) Sandy, Utah. She is preceded in death by her parents; William Richard Brown and CammieJaunita Baker, brothers; David Richard Brown and Thamer Ellis Brown. Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 29th, 2015 at 10:00 AM with a viewing beginning at 9:00 AM at the Ferron Stake Center (555 South 400 West). Also a viewing will be held the previous evening Wednesday, January 28th at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale (720 North Center Street) from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM. Interment will be in the City Cemetery in Lehi, Utah (1100 North 400th East), at 3:00 PM. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
