CLAWSON- Sandra Jean Wright, age 61, passed away in her home on January 5, 2024.
Sandy was a resident of Clawson with her husband of nearly 20 years and the love of her life, Ron.
She was born March 15, 1962 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Tom and Lois Carlson Ussery.
Sandy was a beautiful baby and adored by her mother. She spent her school days surrounding herself with as many friends as possible and brightening their day with her infectious laugh. She remembered running around town when she was supposed to be at church activities trying to find trouble, and if there were boys there, even better! She loved music and going to concerts and spending time on the desert.
Sandy was a generous, sweet woman known for her excellent memory. An avid HSN shop-star, Sandy loved finding the hottest thing! She loved kids, and what better reason to shop than to spoil the nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews? When she wasn’t spoiling the kids, she was her mom with the newest contraption from cleaning tools to foot scrubbers, she was in the know.
Sandy’s son and light of her life, Brett was born April 6, 1983. Being a lover of the outdoors was a great bonus for mothering her one and only boy’s boy. She was a fantastic mother and cared maybe too much! She gave Brett a wonderful childhood filled with friends, fun, outdoors and sports. Sandy will be missed, but we believe she is happy being reunited with her recently departed husband and mother.
Survived by her son, Brett Davis; father, Jerry Carlson; siblings, Glyn (Shelly) Ussery, Teresa (Bob) Onstott, Candace (Doug) Jensen, Paige (Patrick) Wolfe.
Preceded in death by her mother, Lois Carlson; father, tom Ussery; siblings, Tad Carlson and Pamela Robertson; sister-in-law, Patty Ussery; niece, Heather Young; nephew, Skyler Hardee.
