Ruby Wilson Rowley, age 97, of Huntington, Ut passed away February 7 2019 in Ferron, Ut. Ruby was born December 22, 1921 in Price, Ut to Pierce and Hilda Gilbert Wilson. She was the third of nine children. Ruby grew up in Hiawatha until her junior year of high school when her family moved to Huntington. There, she met the love of her life Ermon Rowley. They were married June 19, 1939 in the Manti LDS Temple. They had six children, five girls, one boy and one foster daughter. Ruby took in many foster children which she loved dearly.\n\nRuby has a very big heart and has love for everyone. She loved sewing, camping, dancing and singing. She enjoyed working with her beautiful flowers and gardening. She could grow anything and loved canning everything that she could. She was still canning at the age of 94. She loved to go on hunting trips with her husband.\n\nRuby made many things for her grandkids. She made Care Bears, Pound puppies and much more. She loved to go with the senior citizens every Monday for lunch and to play bingo and visit. Ruby loved to visit and has been a social person. She served in many positions in the LDS Church. Her family says that she is the best mom and grandma they could have had. They loved her dearly and her family is everything to her.\n\nRuby is survived by her children; Lynn (Dick) Huntington, of Orangeville, Ut; Karen (Kenneth) Huntington, of Atchison, Kansas; Ray (Judy) Rowley, of Huntington, Ut, Connie (Dean) Allen, of Clawson, Ut; Joy (Rex) Minchey, of Jerome, Id; Ellen (Brian) Jex, of Huntington, Ut; Eva (Bill) Brinley, of West Valley, Ut. Also survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister: Rex Wilson, of Payson; Dean Wilson, of Arizona; Enid Baker, of Salt Lake City, Ut; Max Wilson, of Central, Ut., 29 Grandchildren, 99 Great-grandchildren, and 24 Great-great-grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 grandson, 3 sisters and 1 brother.\n\nFuneral Services will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 in the Huntington Stake Center, 240 North Main Street Huntington, Utah at 11 am. Friends may call at the Stake Center on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 am prior to services.\n\nInterment will be in the Huntington City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
