Roger L. Smith East Carbon - Roger L. Smith, age 51, passed peacefully in his sleep January 15, 2013. Smith was born October 8, 1961 at Camp LeJeune Navel Airbase, North Carolina to Richard Leon Sr. and Daisy Mae Stinnett Smith. Smith Married Shelly A. Clift Bennett On July 1, 2002 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was a veteran who served his country as a hero in the Army and Navy. Through his adventures in live he touched many hearts and made many friends. Survived by his two special companions, his dogs Freckles and Mary Ann. Children Michael A. Smith, Klinton C. Smith, Preston B. Bennett, Heather M. Bennett. Eight Grandchildren and Mother-in-law Kathy Clift.
