Roger Allen Malmstrom
Price-Roger Allen Malmstrom, age 66, passed away on July 25, 2012 in Provo, Utah. He was born to Laura and Orval Malmstrom on August 31, 1945 in Provo, Utah.
He attended schools in the Provo area, graduating from Provo High School and BYU. After serving an LDS mission to Uruguay, he married Gloria Williams in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and they welcomed six children into their home. Roger loved teaching and did so in the school systems of Duchesne and Carbon Counties.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; two sons, James (Stephanie) of Kaysville, Utah, John (Sarah) of Holladay, Utah; four daughters, Melanie (Randy) Merrell of American Fork, Utah, Michelle (Aaron) Warner of Star, Idaho, Marylee (Tyler) Mills of Lehi, Utah, and Macylyne (Nathan) Perrone of Houston, Texas; 20 grandchildren; brothers, Dennis (Carole) of Cedar Fort, Utah, Larry (Dawn) of North Ogden, Utah and Doug of Farmington, New Mexico; sister, Lynette (Doug) Keane of Colorado Springs, Colorado, sister-in-law, Janet Malmstrom of Orem, Utah, sisters- and brothers-in-law, Eileen Williams of Honey Creek, Iowa, Gary (Kaiti) Williams, of Provo, Utah, Reed (Lavon) Williams of Lovell, Wyoming, Joy Critchfield of Murray, Utah, Anne (Don) Gross of Fruitland, Idaho, Rita June (Jay) Critchfield of Pocatello, Idaho, Terry (Susan) Perrin of Orofino, Idaho, Brent (Pat) Williams, of Mesa, Arizona, Christine (Wes) Wootan of Glenns Ferry, Idaho.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Arland, Ray, and DelRoy, two sisters-in-law, Hilda Williams and Suzette Perrin, and brothers-in-law, Lawrence Critchfield, Jack Williams.
The funeral honoring Roger will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Price Utah LDS Stake Center (150 South 500 East, Price, Utah.) A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Fausett Mortuary in Price from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. and also Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center prior to the service. Interment will take place at the Glenns Rest Cemetery in Glenns Ferry, Idaho, on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
