Robert Todd Dye
FERRON- Robert Todd Dye, 59, passed away unexpectedly, December 17, 2023 at the Utah Valley Trauma Center. He was born March 26,1964, the only son of Robert J Dye and Bonnie Ormond.
Todd married Anna, the love of his life on November 3,1990 and from there they built a beautiful loving family. Todd loved many things, but his family was his greatest love and accomplishment. He was so honored and proud, the love he had for his boys beamed in every moment. Todd was the rock-hard foundation that kept us all stable. His grandkids opened up a soft side that we all admired to see. He loved to be around them and lived for their happiness. They all loved and adored him so much; he was a true hero in their eyes. He turned into a child himself, running and yelling in the house with them all. He loved his family unconditionally above everything else and wanted everyone to be together spending time as much as possible and made sure we all felt loved and included.
Todd was unapologetically himself. He had the greatest laugh and contagious sense of humor and always said what was on his mind, good or bad. He had many life stories to share, incredible knowledge and skills beyond belief. He was a hard worker, always making sure to provide and care for his family. He instilled hard work, honesty and truth into his boys. He loved his beautiful wife and was her best friend, spending all their spare time together.
Todd had a passion for mechanicing (making it his profession), classic cars, Chevrolet, camping, fishing and making memories matter with the ones he loved. He spent a lot of his time in his shop telling stories, giving advice, having "garage confession nights", working on his Camaro's, painting, building motors and many other creative projects he came up with. He loved sharing his knowledge with his boys. He was always busy doing something, burning the candle from both ends and never stopped.
The family would like to thank the first responders, air med team, doctors and nurses who tirelessly tried to perform life saving measures and for the kindness of the staff at Utah Valley Hospital for their kindness and compassion, especially to Todd's beloved grandkids.
Robert is survived by his mother Bonnie Ormond; wife Anna Dye (Mattox); his children Johnathan (Shelley) Dye; Robert Tyrail Dye and Weston (Chelsie) Dye. 12 grandchildren, 5 sisters, mother and father-in-law (Gary and Betty Mattox) many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and several lifelong friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his father Robert J Dye.
