Robbie Lofley
WELLINGTON- Robbie Lofley, age 61, was called home to his Heavenly Father on September 4, 2024.
Robbie was born June 26, 1963, to Charles and Anne Beryl Tidwell Lofley in Price, Utah.
Robbie married Janet Wayman and had 2 children. They were later divorced. He then married the love of his life, Martha Rene’ McKinney on December 2, 1993. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on December 13, 1994. Robbie then adopted Rene’s daughter. Later they adopted a baby girl.
Robbie attended College of Eastern Utah where he obtained an Associate’s degree in Electronics. He met Rene’ there. They graduated together.
Robbie loved the outdoors. He loved to pan for gold, hike, camp, and fish. He took his faithful companions, his three dogs with him everywhere. Robbie loved to flint knap. He made many arrowheads out of various materials. He liked to find rock art and take pictures. He was mechanically inclined and loved to work on electronic things. He could fix anything.
Robbie was a hard worker. He worked at Hiawatha in the coal mine for 10 years. After Hiawatha closed he went to work for North Emery Water Users for a short time until he went to work at Holiday Inn where he worked for 10 years. He left Holiday Inn and went to Deer Creek Mine where he worked until 2013.
Robbie is survived by his wife, Rene’; daughters, Christy (Colin) Tucker, Price, Stella (Dustin) Tucker, Price, Adrieana Lofley, Wellington; son, Kendal (Monica) Lofley; eight granddaughters; four grandsons; 2 sisters; 4 brothers.
Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Charla Every; brother-in-law, Joseph Geiser; grandson, Colin Tucker, Jr.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Rocky Mountain Home Care & Hospice, Castleview Hospital, Dr. Paul Thayn, Dr. Eugene Larsen, and Fausett Mortuary for all the care extended to Robbie and his family.
Funeral service, Tuesday, September 10, 2024, 11;00 a.m., Elmo Ward Chapel where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment, Elmo Town Cemetery. Arrangements are in the trusted care of Fausett Mortuaries where friends and family are always welcome and may share memories online at www.fausettmortuary.com.
