Richard Maxwell

Richard W "Max" Maxwell Richard W "Max" Maxwell, age 55, passed away August 8, 2016 in Orangeville, Utah. He was born in Salt Lake City on December 2, 1960 to Claude W. and Laura Jane Blazzard Maxwell. He loved life and spent his younger years fishing and would snow mobile every chance he could get. He moved to Castle Dale during Junior High and fell in love with Emery County and its mountain and desert. Max had a great love for the mountains as well as his family and friends. He had a special love for his wife whom he called "Angel". He was always willing to help anyone who was in need of a hand. He was a very hard worker and worked in the coal mines. He put the same hard effort into everything he did. He had a passion for music of all kind especially classic rock. He would find a new song he liked and listen to it over and over until he knew every note and every word. He lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Max is survived by his daughter Mandy K Maxwell (Jorge Chavez), granddaughters Alivia and Kenadi Ibanez, his parents Claude and Jane Maxwell and his sister Claire (Ray) Walker. He was preceded in death by his wife Kristi, and a brother Robert Maxwell. A life celebration will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist the family with costs. Family will greet friends an hour prior to the services.
