Peggy Jones

Peggy Lorana Jones Peggy Lorana Jones, 66, passed away in Provo, Utah on July 19, 2016. She was born August 7, 1949 in Price, Utah to Pier Carlyle & Dortha Jewkes Jones. Peggy had Down's Syndrome at birth and as a result has been a special blessing to her family and those who have known her. Her mother drove her to the Ann Self School in Price as a child along with several other children. Peggy has always been very happy and pleasant to be around. She was blessed with a great loving spirit and has always had a special love for others. She will be deeply missed by all who have known and cared for her throughout her life. Since 1982 she has lived at the American Fork Training Center, Eastside Center, and most recently the Provo Care & Rehab Center. Peggy is survived by her twin brother Pat (Lauraly) Jones of Orangeville, brother Kelly (Janet) Jones of Longmont, CO and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Pete & Ron Jones, and a sister Lyla Steinhilber. A special thanks for the love, gentle kindness and skilled care by the staff at the Provo Care Center. A visitation will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 from 10 - 11 am in the Orangeville 2nd Ward Chapel. Funeral services will follow at the church at 11:00 am.
