Pearl Anderson Brinkerhoff Lawrence: Pearl Anderson Brinkerhoff, age 83 passed away peacefully, Friday, September 14,2012. She was the born on the family farm, not far from Castle Dale, on April 5, 1929 to Joseph and Sarah Elizabeth Cook Anderson. Pearl was born with one older sister and two younger brothers came later. Pearl married Harvey Brinkerhoff on October 27, 1951 in Castle Dale, UT. Together they lived on their farm in Lawrence for many years. Harvey passed away on July 9, 2011. Pearl grew up on the family farm and at the age of 8, her family moved to down town Castle Dale. At the age of 10 her father passed away. She attended school in Castle Dale and graduated from South Emery High School. She learned the value of hard work at a young age, where she would churn butter and can many fruits and vegetables. She tended children and worked in a hotel and restaurant in many different capacities throughout her life. From 1968-1971 she worked with the Community Action Program. Pearl enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Pearl is survived by her sister, Stella Reid of Castle Dale and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband: Harvey Brinkerhoff, two brothers: Floyd and Max Anderson. Graveside services will be Wednesday, September, 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Castle Dale City Cemetery. A viewing will be on Wednesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary, 720 N. Center St., Castle Dale, prior to the graveside services. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
