Paul Tweddell

Listen to Service PRICE - Paul E. Tweddell, age 85, passed away April 21, 2015 in Price. He was born August 2, 1929 in Springville to James Raymond Tweddell & Mae Southworth. He married LaGene Jenkins on August 1, 1949 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized November 1, 1958 in the Manti LDS Temple. Dad loved taking care of Mother, LaGene. He loved farming, raising cows, grandkids, and fishing. He also loved working in his shop, and he loved his dogs, especially his companion Duece. He was raised in Wattis until he was 5 years old then lived the remainder of his life south of Price. He was a coal miner and mechanic and retired from the mines after 40 years. He worked in almost every union mine in Carbon County and at one mine in Colorado. Dad and Mom purchased a boat and enjoyed taking it out fishing as often as they could. He always enjoyed getting the last laugh and he sure did this time. You will be greatly missed Dad. We love you. Paul is survived by his children Lee (Terrie) Tweddell of Price, UT, Alan (Jeannette) Tweddell of Hotchkiss, CO, Steven (Lynna) Tweddell of Price, UT, and Chariety (Greg) Tweddell Riggs of Parachute, CO. He has 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, LaGene Tweddell, parents James and Mae Tweddell, sister Ellen Tweddell Hamaker, brother Joe Tweddell, and granddaughter Shantill Spring Tweddell. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:00 am at Price Fausett Mortuary with a viewing one hour prior. A viewing will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Fausett Mortuary from 6:00-8:00 pm. Interment will be in the Wellington Cemetery. Services entrusted to the care of Fausett Mortuary.
