EAST CARBON - Ottalyne Marsden Hansen Dinkelman, age 77, passed away Jan. 19, 2009 at East Carbon
Born Feb. 4, 1931 in Murray, Utah to Otto James Hansen and Hazel Harker Marsden.
Married Willem Adriaan Dinkelman May 4, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in several positions, among her favorites being Stake Historian and the Stake Relief Society Presidency. She loved to read, embroider, camp with friends, and make her own Christmas bows. And as a young adult she was involved in sports and drama. She retired from the Carbon School District as manager of the Peterson Elementary school lunch program. But her greatest joy in life was being with and serving her eternal sweetheart. Bill and Ottalyne are together again, "Always."
Survived by five children, CyndaLee and Steven Bowen, West Valley City; Craig and Diane Dinkelman, Las Vegas, NV; Debra and Layne Miller, Gary and Linda Dinkelman and Jay and Amy Dinkelman, all of Price; 28 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Graham, brothers, LaVoy and Janice Hansen, VerNon Hansen and LaMonte and Leslie Hansen, brother-in-law, John Dinkelman all of Salt Lake.
Proceeded in death by husband, parents, and daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Atwood Dinkelman.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan 24, 10 am in the East Carbon LDS Chapel. Family will be at Fausett Mortuary in Price Friday, Jan 23, 6-8 pm and prior to the services at the church Saturday 8:30-9:30 am. Burial Larkin Sunset Lawn and Gardens in Sandy, in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
