Nina Hunt

Nina Hunt PRICE - Nina Hunt, age 74, returned to her Heavenly Father on August 6, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 13, 1935 in Soldier Summit, Utah. Nina was raised in Helper, Utah where she went to school and later met and married Wayne Hunt on September 9, 1950; they were happily married for 58 years. She was a member of the LDS church where she enjoyed teaching little children and taught 11 year old scouts for 25 years where upon she received the Silver Beaver award. Nina was a very dedicated homemaker where she and Wayne raised 6 children and took good care of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved animals and had two favorite dogs, Tuffy and a little Pomeranian dog, Teddy. Nina and Wayne enjoyed traveling in their motor home and spending time with family and friends at their favorite spots Lake Powell, Quartzite and Capitol Reef. She is survived by her children: Roger Hunt of Price, Debra (Richard) Feador of Henderson, Nevada, Tamela Hunt of Grand Junction, Colorado, Lois (Chuck) Balzer of Carson City, Nevada, Vincent (Jen) Hunt of Salem, Utah, and special friend Merrillee Hunt of Spring Glen; 14 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters: Joyce (Williard) Allen of Burley, Idaho, and Paula (Max) Broadhead of Carbonville, Utah. Preceded in death by her husband, Wayne M. Hunt; son, Jeffrey L. Hunt; sister, Lois Vaughnn; brother, Roland Nason; and sister, Arren Nason Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Price 2nd Ward (449 North 100 East, Price). A viewing will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South, Price), and from 9:00 - 10:40 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
