Naomi Anderson

In Loving Memory of Naomi Muhlestein Anderson Price-Naomi Muhlestein Anderson, age, 94, passed away August 29, 2010 and returned to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father after battling Alzheimers for the last 5 years. Naomi was born October 1, 1915 in Provo, Utah, to Ephraim Ammon and Lillie Alvey Muhlestein. She was the first of nine children. She married Nephi Walter Anderson, October 25, 1937. They were later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple. Their marriage of 62 years was one of love and devotion. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in various callings. Including many years as Relief Society President. Naomi and Walt served over 6 years in the Manti LDS Temple. Naomi was the ultimate homemaker and hostess. She spent a lifetime developing and sharing hobbies: gardening, sewing, canning, cooking (special concoctions) and dancing. Naomi used these skills as she taught 4H for several years. She also participated in and judged State Fair Events. Walt and Naomi loved to dance and belonged to Dansante as well as enjoying square dancing. She is survived by her son: Dennis (Donna) Anderson; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters: Donna Truscott, Joy (Dan) Higbee, Lillie (Gareth) Peterson; brothers: Arnold (Dorothy) Muhlestein, Ray (Joyce) Muhlestein; sister-in-law: Lillie Muhlestein. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Nephi Walter Anderson; three infant children: James, Wayne, and Lester; grandson Glen Scott Anderson; brothers: Grant Muhlestein, Lester Muhlestein; sister Jean Thorp; brother-in-law Bud Truscott. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary Chapel (680 East 100 South, Price.) There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior the services at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Price City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
