Nanola Nelson

Nanola Stevenson Nelson Price-Nanola Stevenson Nelson, age 91, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in Price Utah. Nanola was born on September 16, 1919 to James Matthew and Mary Rachel Havens Stevenson in Tazewell, Virginia. She was the youngest of twelve children. She married Mervin Hyrum Nelson on January 25, 1944 in Tazewell, Virginia, shortly there after they moved to Ferron, Utah. Nanola enjoyed gardening, bird watching and especially watching humming birds, she also enjoyed visiting with the students from the Castle Valley Center work crew while they worked on her yard. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters: Patricia (Jack) Lane, of Salt Lake City and Suzanne (Bud) Bills of Spring Glen, grandchildren: Max (Cindy) Davis, Tiffany (Gary) McKibben and Brandy Campbell, great-grandchildren: Natasha, Cody, Brittany, Lacy, Colton, Nichole, Cortney, Anthony and Micheal. She is preceded in death by her husband Mervin, six brothers, five sisters all from Virginia, and grandsons: Rex Greenland Jr. and Jimmy Dalton. The family would like to thank her great-granddaughter Brittany McKibben for the special care she has given to her great-grandmother. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Price City Cemetery. A viewing for family and friends will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South - Price, Utah) Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
