Michael Moran Stone (Mickey) Michael Moran Stone (Mickey) age 72, returned to Heavenly Father and his soul mate on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. He was born on July 28, 1943 in Denver, Colorado to Jeanne Grace Stone and Lloyd Farwell and was raised by Uncle Art and Aunt Ollie Stone. Siblings are Vivian Bunge (Paul), Verna Wiler (Bill), and Vera Leiseth (Al). He graduated from Grand County High School in 1962 then married the love of his life, Mavis D. Stone, in Moab, Utah on November 18, 1962. Shortly after, Mike had 2 children named Todd and Tina. After living in Washington State for a while and working as a logger they settled in Castle Dale, Utah in 1976 and remained there since. He drove a coal truck for many years to support his family. He loved camping, gardening, sports and maintaining his vehicles. He was a man of man's, full of pride, hardworking, sentimental, a joker, and had a deep love for his wife and kids. A good example to all. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by a son Todd Stone (Sherrie), a daughter Tina Petersen (Jeremiah). Seven grand kids: Shaun Stone (Paola), Mandy Stone (Bill), Angelia Stone, Kelsey Stone, Josh Petersen, Andrew Petersen, McKayla Petersen. Five great grand kids: Jason, Shaun, Micah, Libby and Lexi. Funeral services will be held at Fausett Mortuary, 720 North Center Street in Castle Dale, Utah on Friday April 8, 2016 at 11:00 am with a visitation from 10-11am. Interment following at 3:00 pm sharp at Sunset Memorial Gardens 2651 Spanish Valley Drive in Moab, Utah. Services are entrusted to the care of Fausett Mortuary of Emery County.
