Michael Monfredi

Biography Michael Anthony Monfredi Wellington-Michael Anthony Monfredi, age 97, passed away in Price on October 12, 2010. He was born to Earnest and Carmella Magilocco Monfredi on March 24, 1913 in Coke Dale, CO. Mike married Wanda Jensen on July 8, 1946 in Price, UT. They later divorced. Mike served his country in WWII. Michael was always known as a hard worker. He worked his way up from a coal miner to a Federal Mine Inspector. He also worked as an engineer for the Utah Rail Road. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on the farm. He is survived by his son Michael (Katherine) Monfredi Jr. of Castle Dale, 4 grandchildren: Jason (Misty) Monfredi, Jaime (Zac) Nelson, Mark (Maren) Monfredi, and Jared (Andrea) Monfredi, and 13 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Tommy Lee Monfredi and sisters: Joann Dause and Della Bruder. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price, UT. A viewing will be held prior the services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Mortuary.
