Mom passed away November 28, 2018 after a long and productive life. Born January 12, 1927 in Wellington, Utah to Daniel Abram and Irene Thayn Burnett. She lived in Wellington her entire life.
The most common description people offer of her is she is the kindest and most loving person in the world. We whole heartily agree and have had the opportunity to benefit of her kindness and love our entire lives. She not only served her family but as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints she served in positions in the Primary, Young Women and Relief Society with both the Stake and Ward organizations. She was particularly proud of her more than 30 years as a ward and stake librarian. She was a proud member of the ONO club and cherished her lifelong friends. She had three loves of her life; family, the Utah Jazz and bull riding. Not necessarily in that order.
She married Ross Norton on February 12, 1945 in Wellington and was blessed with 5 children. Barry (Lynda) Norton, Cathy (Jack) LaRose, Debra (Russell) Hobbs, Leslie (Wayne) Woodward, 16 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren and survived by sister Phyllis Bradshaw. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Ross, her son baby boy Norton, parents and in-laws, brother Durward (Nona) Burnett, sister Lila (Floyd) Golding, brother-in-law Charles Bradshaw, grandchildren Tami and Stacee Norton, and great grandchildren Seth Howes and Jonathan Woodward.
