Mary Christensen

Mary L. Christensen PRICE - Mary L. Christensen passed away June 19, 2016. She was born October 11, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Frank & Mary Pulsipher Jones. Married June Christensen on May 17, 1941 and later solemnized in the Manti Temple. She was a member of the Christ of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed attending church and going to the temple. Mary was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers for many years. She loved decorating cakes, making quilts, her yardwork and her cats were like her babies. She and June enjoyed traveling with the Good Sams Club. Survived by her children Collette (Dale) VanWagoner of Elmo, Ronald J (Carol) Christensen of Price, Paul W. (Linda) Christensen of Price, Larry June (Tresa) Christensen of Elmo, Laura (Terry) Atwood of South Jordan, and Junette (James) Boyden of Las Vegas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Nelda L. Erickson. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters, and grandson Clinton Christensen. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Price Stake Center with a viewing one hour prior. Interment in the Cleveland Cemetery.
