Marvin Miller

March 23, 1935 — November 5, 2009

Marvin Miller "Skip" Price: Marvin Devere "Skip" Miller 1935-2009. Our dear Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 5, 2009 at his home in Price, Utah. He was born March 23, 1935 in St. Anthony, Idaho to Joseph George Miller and Margaret Marilla Hancock Miller. Marvin owned and operated Miller Plumbing Company for over 20 years, which he attempted to retire from a few years ago. (Unless someone needed him.) He enjoyed bowling, fishing, game shows and most importantly, spending time with his family. Marvin was a complex, loving, secretive man who worked hard everyday of his life. His corny sense of humor and his "I'll decide," attitude will live in our hearts forever. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol Lynn Oakden Miller, and his six children: Ronald (Debbie) Miller, William (Paula) Miller, Richard Miller, Lori (Scott) Edwards, Kevin (Heather) Miller and Teri (Tidge) Wright. 21 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, brothers and sister: Joseph James (Barbara) Miller, Donald (Kay) Miller, Merlin (Linda) Miller, MariAnne (Byron) Jensen and his first wife Helene Goodenough. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Gweneivere Fisher. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Price 5th Ward LDS Chapel, 545 East 400 North. A viewing will be held on Tuesday November 10, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price, and on Wednesday from 9:30-10:45 at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery in Price. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Friends and family may sign the guestbook and share memories of Marvin at www.fausettmortuary.com.
