Mark T. Wilberg
CASTLE DALE - Mark T. Wilberg, age 61, passed away January 7, 2013 at his home in Castle Dale. Mark was born July 3, 1951 to Ted and Darlene Christensen Wilberg in Price. He was raised in Castle Dale where he graduated from Emery High School in 1969. He then studied Business Management at Provo Trade Tech. He worked in construction and did carpentry work. He then moved on to work in the coal mines, retiring in 2002 after 25 years.
Mark loved the outdoors, was a fisherman, and was a white water river rafting guide. He especially enjoyed going out on the desert and being in the mountains. He collected coins and antiques and had a great passion for eagles. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and as a caring, kind-hearted individual who loved his family.
Mark is survived by his son, Christopher Mark Wilberg of Thornton, Colorado; siblings: Susan Ward of Cleveland and Louis Riche, Don (Debbie) Wilberg of Castle Dale, and Kaye (Jeff) Sitterud of Lawrence.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Wilberg; mother Darlene Thompson; and step-father, Clyde Thompson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 11, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale (720 N. Center Street). Family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Castle Dale City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
