Marjorie Diane Potter
HUNTINGTON - Marjorie Diane Potter, age 72, passed away peacefully at her home in Huntington on October 5, 2012. Marjorie was born April 24, 1940 in Price to Heber and Marjorie Johnson Ward. She married Boyd Potter, and they were blessed with eight children.
Marjorie loved being with family and friends. She also enjoyed going out to the desert and collecting rocks. Her family was her life, and she loved them unconditionally. She will be remembered as a loving, giving person who always thought of others before herself.
She is survived by her children: DeVon Potter of Huntington, Stacey (Mike) Christman of Orangeville, Bret Potter of Huntington, Wayne (Lisa) Potter of West Valley, Cody (Barbie) Potter of Huntington, Marty (Mandi) Potter of Huntington, and Landall (Whitney) Potter of Huntington; son-in-law, Kevin Peacock of Huntington; two brothers, Dennis (Rose) Ward of Lawrence and Joe (Berta) Ward of Huntington; sister-in-law, Karen Ward of Cleveland; 23 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Boyd; two children, Jamey Peacock and Chel Potter; daughter-in-law, Tammy Potter; two brothers, DeVon Ward and Deon Ward; and sister, Joann Ward.
Memorial services will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Desert Edge Christian Chapel (15 East 500 South, Huntington). Interment will be in the Huntington City Cemetery.
