Marilyn West

Marilyn West PRICE - Marilyn West, age 63 passed away January 26, 2010 in Price, Utah. She was born January 25, 1947 in Dragerton, Utah to Fred and Marie Mabbutt. She married Bradley West in Price, Utah on August 28, 1969. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Marilyn was raised in Price with her three brothers: Darrell, Lynn, and Ben. She attended BYU where she met Bradley West. Bradley was enlisted in the Army and they transferred to various bases, then settled for a time in El Paso, Texas before moving back to Price, Utah. She raised three daughters and has nine grandsons. She loved her children fiercely as well as her nine grand boys. She loved her co-workers from the Holiday Inn, and the Relief Society sisters in the Gordon Creek Ward where she served as Relief Society Secretary. She is survived by her husband, Bradley West; children: Mindy (Brian) Spears and Holly (Chris) Jones; Son-in-law, Matt (Sharon) Coon; grandchildren: Jamin, Jordan, Gage, Garrett, Gaven, Grayden, Gregory, Canyon, and Benton; mother, Marie Mabbutt; and brothers: Darryl, Lynn, and Ben. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cordy West Coon; and father, Fred Mabbutt. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. the Gordon Creek LDS Chapel (175 North 1280 West - Price, Utah). A viewing will be held Friday, January 29, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South - Price, Utah) and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
