Marilyn Faye West Bennett Fox PRICE - Marilyn Faye West Bennett Fox, age 77, passed away August 20, 2010 in Price, Utah. She was born on May 22, 1933 to Robert Ellsworth West and Ella Mae Francis in Middletown, Ohio. She married Marvin Noble Bennett on December 15, 1957 in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Laie Hawaii Temple in 1983. Marvin passed away on June 11, 2001. She later married Calvin Edgar Fox on January 3, 2004 in Price, Utah. Marilyn was a member of the LDS church where she was very active in the scouting program, where she received the "Silver Beaver" award. She and her first husband Marvin helped build the LDS temple in Western Samoa. Some of her hobbies included: ceramics, camping, showing horses, and traveling. She is survived by her husband: Calvin Edgar Fox; five children: Hal "Runner" Bennett of Price, Utah, Bob Bennett of Price, Utah, Janet (Larry) Roberts of Price, Utah, Carl Fox of Price, Utah, and Charles (Patsy) Fox of Jacksonville, Florida; 15 grandchildren: Shadrach, Farrah, Rafferty, Jennie, Joshua, Jackie, Jessie, Joseph, Chuckie, Casey, Christi, Shannon, Trevor, Tyrell, and Carley; 15 great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Virginia Miller, Shirley Moreland, and Bobbie Jean West all of Ohio; and two nieces: Sharon (Fred) Hall; and Carolyn Sue (Dan) Fox. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin N. Bennett; 1 sister, Geneva Bidwell; and 3 brother-in-laws. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lindquist Memorial Park at Layton (1867 North Fairfield Road - Layton, Utah.) A viewing will be held on Monday August 23, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South - Price, Utah.) Interment will be at the Lindquist Memorial Park at Layton.
