Marie Mabbutt

Marie Timothy Mabbutt PRICE-Marie Timothy Mabbutt age 95, peacefully returned home to her Heavenly Father on May 13, 2013, due to incidents of age. She was born on January 8, 1918 in Jensen, Utah to Alma and Ellen Timothy; the 12th of 13 children. She married Fred Curtis Mabbutt on December 9, 1940 in Price, Utah and soon moved into a home on fifth south where they lived and raised their family. Marie was the daughter of a school teacher/farmer and grew up in a log cabin not far from the Green River in Jensen, Utah. After graduating high school in Price she worked for Dr. F.V. Colombo. With her marriage to Fred came four children. Three boys and one girl. She enjoyed her life and especially opportunities to be with her family. Marie was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life including serving a mission to the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Mission in 1985-86. She very much enjoyed serving in the temple and enjoyed attending with members of her ward. Survived by her three sons: Darrell (Helen) Mabbutt, Lynn (Marci) Mabbutt, and Ben Lee (Roxie) Mabbutt, her sister Clara (Sheldon) Axelson, 26 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband Fred, daughter Marilyn (Brad) West, grandchildren Cordy (Marilyn) Coon, Theresa (Lynn) Mabbutt and Jason (Ben Lee) Mabbutt, 4 sisters and 7 brothers. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price (680 East 100 South). A viewing will be held on Friday prior to the service at the mortuary from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Price City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
