Biography Marie V. Hancock 2-21-27 ~ 7-16-11 Price: Marie V. Hancock, 84, passed away in Price, Utah on July 16, 2011. She was born in Berkley County, West Virginia, on February 21, 1927 to Clifford Boyd and Lucy McMillan Boyd. Marie married Wallace Hancock on September 14, 1946, they later divorced. Marie enjoyed dancing, reading, feeding and watching humming birds, listening to gospel music and watching minister programs on T.V. Her greatest love was her children and grand children and being with them. Marie is survived by her children: Helen (Rocky) Yates of East Carbon, UT, Joyce VanZant of Price, UT, Carol (Denis) Rohrbaugh of PA, Rita (Kevin) Smith of Salt Lake City, UT, Sherry Johnson of Clearfield, UT and Tony Hancock of Taylorsville, UT, grandchildren: Eddie (Michelle), Ronnie, Jesse, Christine, Sam, Randy (Jodi), Missy (Brian), Dawn (Marc), Amber and Tyler, 13 great-grandchildren, brother: Adrian (Peg) Boyd and sister: Linda (Jim) Eyer both of PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Ray, Bob, Gary, Bill and James, daughter: Virginia, grandson: Rusty, and granddaughter: Billie Jo. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary Chapel in Price (680 E. 100 S.) A viewing will be on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 prior to the services.
