Malcolm Roy Cutts
CASTLE DALE--Malcolm Roy Cutts, age 74, passed away March 25, 2010, at his home in Castle Dale. Malcolm was born January 20, 1936, in Los Angeles, California to William and Rosella Cutts. He married Norma Gay Olsen on October 11, 1997, in Fair Oaks, California.
Malcolm had his hand in several different occupations throughout his life. After graduating from California Police Academy, Malcolm served as a Police Officer in Lake Port and Woodland, California. He served as a Senior Patrolman, Butte College Fire Arm Instructor, and an Investigation and Range Master Instructor. Malcolm ran his own grocery shipping and receiving business. He was in insurance sales and accounting. At one point he was a delivery route man for Sunshine Biscuit Co., Rainbow Bread, and Dolly Madison Cake Co. Malcolm was also a newspaper route carrier for the Daily News/Record Searchlight at Redding California. He and Norma served a two year LDS mission in the Las Vegas, Nevada West Mission.
Malcolm is survived by his wife, Norma; children: Robert Cutts of California, Bentley Cutts of Idaho, Brian Cutts of California, David Cutts of Washington, Timothy Cutts, Susan Cutts Peters, and Kim Cutts, the latter three of California; over 100 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rosella, and a son, William Cutts.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 29, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale (720 North Center St.). A viewing will be held Sunday, March 28, 2010, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Monday one hour prior to the services, both at the Mortuary. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
