LISTEN TO SERVICE
Helen Louise Price
CLAWSON - Helen Louise Price passed away peacefully on June 22, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
Louise was born August 3, 1935 to Rulon and Ila Mary Blackburn. She married her childhood sweetheart, Darrel Fame Price, July 12, 1951, later solemnized in the Manti LDS temple.
She served in various positions in the LDS church and faithfully fulfilled a church service mission with her husband at the Bishop's Storehouse.
Louise loved to reminisce and had a remarkable memory bank filled with stories of people and days gone by. She liked pictures and antiques and always wondered the story behind things that were old. She was a member of the DUP Old Mill Camp where her favorite part of the meeting was always when they showed an artifact.
She enjoyed crocheting, crafts and painting, planting flowers, listening to music, going for drives, and being with her family who she "loved too much!" She was patient, understanding, supportive, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Louise is survived by her five children: Bob (Doris) Price of Ferron; Jean (Randy) Smith of Vernal; Kim (Wade) Riley of Clawson; Gary (Shaunnie) Price of Clawson; Stephen (Heidi) Price of Castle Dale. Her brothers: Rulon (Carolyn) Blackburn of Roseville, CA; Michael (Doris) Jensen of Clawson; and her sisters: Sandra (John) Justice of Clawson; Debbie (Frank) Schmidt of Kalama, WA.: sister-in-law Adela Blackburn.
She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Darrel; her father, Rulon; her mother, Ila; her stepfather, Frank Jensen; her brother, Sherald Blackburn; her sister, Donna Jean Smith and many other friends and loved ones.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blue Hills LDS Church (35 West 200 North - Ferron, Utah.)
