Linda Ware

October 15, 1959 — April 11, 2022

Linda Ware, age 62, slipped quietly into the arms of her Heavenly Father after spending the day surrounded by love on April 11, 2022, in Ferron Utah.

She was born on Oct 15, 1959, in Price Utah to Rue and Nellie Ann Olsen Ware. She was the third of four daughters. Linda grew up in a home where doting parents lovingly provided piano lessons, handsewn clothing, homemade meals, family adventures, and a welcome sign for all of their friends. Growing up in Orangeville with grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles close by was a blessing that meant so much to her.

Linda graduated from Emery High School in 1977 where she participated in drama and choir, playing the piano in many productions and choir events. She then graduated from the Nursing Program at the College of Eastern Utah.

She was a natural caregiver. Linda spent her entire career at hospitals and care centers throughout Utah County and the Salt Lake Valley, ending her career as Director of Nursing.

She adored her nieces and nephews and they adored her. They have many fond memories of baking treats, making suckers, playing games, and her infectious laugh. She had a special place in her heart for her dog, Linus, who she missed so much.

During the last few years, Linda survived cancer, chemo, radiation, a broken femur, and 2 bouts of CoVid. She was tougher than she thought she was! She loved purple, Winnie-the-Pooh, and Dr. Pepper. She made many beautiful counted cross-stitch samplers and she loved to color with her markers and gel pens, which she had way too many of! She loved Primary songs and loved being the Primary pianist in many wards. She was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She is survived by her sisters, Ruanne Leeflang (Larry), Lori Labrum (Garth) and Julie Wilson (Kent) all of Orangeville. Also 10 nieces and nephews, their spouses and children whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and other family members who were waiting for her with open arms.

The family wishes to thank Emery Care and Rehab and Symbii Home Health, and especially a big thank you to Layci Sitterud Thomas who was her best friend and who Linda loved so much.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Orangeville 1st Ward with a viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Live-streaming will be available on Fausett Mortuary Facebook page. Interment will follow in the Orangeville Cemetery entrusted to Fausett Mortuary.
