Lester Grundvig

Lester Alfred Grundvig "Lefty" Sunnyside: Lester "Lefty" Grundvig age 72, passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2012. He was born May 28, 1940 to Alfred and Nora Grundvig in Bountiful, UT and moved to Huntington at the age of two. On September 15, 1988 Lester married his lifetime partner and best friend Florence Ann Graves in Reno, Nevada. He was an avid fisherman, loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping with his family. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a faithful friend to all who knew him. Lester is survived by his wife, 7 children, 11 siblings, 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, three siblings and his 1st wife. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated and are being accepted at Sunnyside Credit Union. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 E. 100 S. Price). A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the Mortuary.
