LISTEN TO SERVICE Lenard Doyle Jones Wellington, Utah. Lenard Doyle Jones, age 68, passed away on December 7, 2014 at home in Wellington surrounded by family. He was born April 8, 1946 in Price, Utah to William (Bill) and Edna Brown Jones. Member of the LDS Church he married Louise Pierce on January 8, 1968. Lenard was raised in Elmo, Utah on the family farm. He enjoyed life on the family farm with family and riding horses on the desert. After high school graduation he joined the US Air Force where he learned to be a Jet Mechanic, working of the F-4. During that time he was stationed in Texas, California, Okinawa Island, Montana, and Florida. After discharge from the Air Force he worked at the Boeing Plant in Everett, Washington. Where he worked on the first Boeing 747 that came of the assembly line. Spending time running Jones Welding and Towing a source of pride for him. He also worked for 29 years for Western Coal Carrier until retiring in 2001. He enjoyed working with sons and teaching them to weld, woodworking, and auto mechanics. He is survived by his wife Louise and his sons Shaun (Brandie);Durango, Co, Troy; Denver, Co, and Tracey, Salt Lake City. Along with his grandchildren Jaycee, Colton, and Logan. He is preceded in death his parents, brothers Ronald, Clifton, Clifford, Roger, and Wayne, sisters Mary Bea and Billie, Brother-in-law Sam Cranford. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellington LDS 1st Ward Chapel (50 North 100 East.) A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and also on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Wellington City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guestbook and share memories of Lenard at www.fausettmortuary.com
