Robert Lee Rowley Sr. Spring Glen - Robert Lee Rowley, Sr., age 95, passed away May 26, 2012, in Price, Utah. Lee was born November 13, 1916 in Spring Glen, Utah to David Smith Rowley, Sr., and Sarah Noyes Rowley. He married Leah Deanna Hunt June 24, 1936, in Price. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Leah passed away August 14, 2009. As a child Lee loved riding on trains. Later in life he enjoyed having model trains and putting them around the Christmas tree. He collected anything to do with trains or anything with a train on it including wind chimes, clocks, and numerous other things. Lee Loved the fact that he was able to build his own home. He enjoyed playing music. He was very talented, and taught himself to play many instruments. Lee and Leah spent many of their retirement years traveling together. They visited every state more than once, and also traveled to Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Lee wore a hat everywhere he went. He enjoyed being in the outdoors with his family camping and fishing. He was also an avid hunter and loved pine nut hunting. But what he enjoyed the most was spending time with his family and living his life to the fullest. Lee is survived by his children: Shirlee (Ralph) Keele of Price, Judy (Ron) Stanfield of Salt Lake City, Deanna Christensen of Centerville, Robert (Denise) Rowley of Price, and Terry (Lori) Rowley of Price; sisters: Jeanne O'Neil of Sandy, Oregon, and Madge (Orv) Gossman of Brea, California; sister-in-law, Harriet Rowley of West Valley City; Lee has 27 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leah; parents; four brothers; and three sisters. Graveside services will be held Thursday May 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spring Glen Cemetery.
