Lamar Safley

LaMar L. Safley Price-our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, LaMar L. Safley, age 79, returned home to his Heavenly Father on November 30, 2009 in Price, Utah. He was born to Lewis John and Rue Rich Safley on February 17, 1930 in Price, Utah. He married the love of his life Patsy Snyder on June 15, 1949 and spent 60 years together. Lamar loved hunting, fishing, and riding his four-wheelers with his children. LaMar was a wonderful man and loved his family. His family will deeply miss him. He is survived by his wife Patsy, children: Linda (John) Graham, Bob (Karen) Safley, and Rosie (Larry) Powell, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Leon Safley, and a daughter Gloria Dix. Funeral services will be Friday, December 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellington LDS 1st & 4th Ward Chapel (50 North 100 East Main.) There will be a viewing on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Fausett Mortuary in Price from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior the services at the church.
