Kevin Sadler Bell
"I'd rather be skydiving!"
ORANGEVILLE - Kevin Sadler Bell, age 55, left his mortal life to join his Father in Heaven on August 25, 2013. He was born December 4, 1957 in Ogden, Utah to Doreen Sadler and Thomas K. Bell. Kevin was raised and educated in Ogden. He rode bareback for the Spiker's Rodeo Club and graduated from Weber High School in 1976. He attended Weber State College where he served as a class senator and majored in Social Work. Kevin also earned degrees in Elementary Education and Child Psychology. He graduated with honors and was listed in Who's Who of American Colleges and Universities. He lived in Carbon and Emery Counties for the past 17 years.
Kevin worked different jobs, but his most enjoyable was Project Turn where he taught special needs children and adults. He enjoyed life and was a member of ABATE motorcycle club and the Ogden Flying Knights skydiving club. Kevin was the victim of a hit and run at the age of 33 and suffered a traumatic brain injury. He spent his remaining years teaching his caregivers to laugh, love, and appreciate the little things. He once said that his greatest joy was teaching and he continued to do this his whole life.
Kevin married Chrissy Foley; they were later divorced. He then married Kathy Doran; they were also later divorced. Kevin was a member of the LDS Church and was a kind and unselfish person.
He is survived by his parents, Doreen Sadler Eversole of Farr West, Utah and Thomas K. Bell of Orangeville, Utah; sister, Cheryl Tolson (Ken Hines) of Morringsport, Louisiana; a handful of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and step-children: Richard Foley of Tennessee and Krystal, Riley, and Andrew Doran of Ogden, Utah.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Pamela Colvell; nephew, Erick Visser; step-son, Shane Foley; and step-mother, Margaret Bell.
The family would like to express gratitude for the love and care provided by the Price, Ferron, and Orangeville communities.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Orangeville City Cemetery. There will be a viewing prior to the services at Fausett Mortuary (720 N. Center St., Castle Dale) from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Kevin at www.fausettmortuary.com.
