Kathy Deane Simpson Witt
Kathy Deane Simpson Witt, (aka) "Froggy", of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, age 63, passed away, and was granted her Angel's Wings on August 18, 2013, after a long and courageous battle, surrounded by loving people.
Kathy was such an inspiration to her family and friends. She leaves a profound legacy of her work ethic behind "Gone but not forgotten" above and beyond the call of her hospice Nursing duties. Her heart and soul went to the people in her care. Kathy touched and blessed many lives, always giving of something to someone in need. Now once again free of her afflictions and pain she'll rein in the afterlife she so much believed in. Her many friends and acquaintances were so delighted by her artistic talents and finished works of art. She was a skilled cook and caterer, her food was exquisite.
Kathy is survived by son Joel W. VanDyke Jr. (Lynn and her children and grandchildren), brothers: Ray (Dawn) Smith of Warsaw, Missouri, William (Janet) Smith of Salida, Colorado, Fred (Sandy) Smith of Aztec, New Mexico, sisters: Mary Simpson Potter of Price, Utah, Leitha (Paul) Giacoletto of Helper, Utah, many loved cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
Preceded in death by her father, James Stidman Simpson, October 14, 1970, mother, Marion Simpson, June 8, 2010, sister, Donnas Kathrine Simpson, March 11, 1953, and many memorable family members and friends.
