John Ian Anderson Davis
John Ian Anderson Davis, age 40 passed away in Price, Utah on May 15, 2016. He was born on May 28, 1975 in Price to John Roger & Susan Kay Huff Anderson. Ian was raised by Scott & Susan Kay Davis in Huntington, Utah and was a 1993 graduate of Emery High School where he was active on the football team. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a mission in the Connecticut/Rhode Island Mission. He married Angela Baird on June 27, 1997 in Castle Dale, Utah.
Ian was a loyal employee of Pepsi Co. He loved the outdoors and camping on the desert where one of his favorite places was the Wedge. He loved trap shooting, playing paint ball and video games. He especially enjoyed playing World of Warcraft with his girls. He loved to be outside tending his little gardens or just sitting on the porch. He will always be remembered for being a loyal friend. He cared deeply for others and watched out for their needs even before his own. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved Ian.
He is survived by his wife Angela Anderson Davis of Orangeville, his daughters KayDee Lee Anderson Davis and Aubrey Belle Anderson Davis also of Orangeville, his parents, Scott & Susan Kay Davis of Price, siblings Ryan Scott (Bethany) Davis of Maine, Kandice Leah Davis of Wyoming, ReAnnon Davis and Kassi Suzanne Davis both of Price, a grandmother Leah Huff and grandparents John & Rayonna Anderson. Ian also leaves behind 10 nieces, 2 nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father John Roger Anderson, grandfathers Charles B Huff and William A Davis, grandmother Laura Belle Anderson, uncles Stan Truman and Boyd Anderson.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home in Huntington, Utah. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Huntington Stake Center with a viewing an hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Huntington City Cemetery.
