JoAn Neider
JoAn Brotherson Neider age 85, passed away December 30, 2023.
She was born on a kitchen table in Elmo, UT on December 31, 1937 to Lynn and Maxine Erickson Brotherson.
She was an avid gardener, loved the outdoors and music, especially Tony Bennett. She had many hobbies including sewing, reading, quilting, crossword puzzles, and she excelled at all of them. Plus she was a fantastic cook.
JoAn was always a good provider for her family, as a single parent of three young girls in the sixties, that wasn't an easy thing. She later had 2 more children with her second husband and gained a bonus daughter when she married Wilder the love of her life.
JoAn was always a very beautiful woman, but she never used that as an excuse to get by on her looks, she was always a very hard worker who took pride in everything she did.
Surviving JoAn are her sisters Mary Lou, Earline, and Paulette; children, Tracine, Brandie, John, Jennifer, and Wanda; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her daughter Caysine, brother David, sister Connie, her brother Floyd, and her loving husband Wilder Neider, who described Jo as "the perfect match for him". Wilder also described their relationship as "a love he thought he'd never find", and Jo often expressed the same feelings about him.
When Wilder passed, he sought to comfort the family and friends he was leaving behind in his self-written obituary/farewell, saying that he's now "off on a brand-new adventure". We like to think that Jo is now with Wilder on their great new adventure.
