Jerry "Red" Fausett

May 9, 1954 — February 2, 2025

Jerry Lee Fausett “Panama Red” was born in Price Utah to Charles and Pearl Fausett on May 9, 1954.

He was a talented musician, artist and humanitarian.

Red was abundantly skilled in the crafts of art. Including music, metal, canvas and people. Much like his unique hand-crafted swords and daggers, his heart was forged in fire.

Music was his passion. Red was in many bands throughout his lifetime, and the long-standing talent of “Past Due” where he was the bass player and vocalist rocked Carbon County for over three decades.

Red’s home was equipped with a music studio that was open to anyone who wanted to jam, and a bed for anyone needing a place to stay. Many people over the years called Red’s house home as he was always willing to give a helping hand and a home cooked meal to anyone in need.

He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many people, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Red leaves behind at least 169 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren both biological and adopted, lovingly known as “Jerry’s Kids”.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jericho Ray Fausett; and many other loved ones.

A celebration of life will be held in May 2025. Arrangements are in the trusted care of Fausett Mortuaries where family and friends are always welcome and may share memories online at www.fausettmortuary.com.
