Jerry Bott

CASTLE DALE - Jerry Glen Bott passed away December 2, 2016, at his home in Castle Dale surrounded by his family. He was born February 11, 1947, to Glen P. and Caroline Westover Bott. He grew up in Castle Dale working the family farm homesteaded by his ancestors. He retired as an Operations Supervisor for UP&L after 32 years of service. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission to the North British Mission. He faithfully served in many capacities in his ward and stake. He had a passion for family history and temple work. He is survived by his twin brother Jeffry of Castle Dale. Also brothers Carl (Diane), David (Colleen) of Castle Dale; brother Evan (Laurie) of Orem, Utah; and sister Jeannie of Orem. Also many nephews and nieces who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents. A viewing will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Castle Dale Stake Center from 9:30 - 11:30 am. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon.
