In Loving Memories ORANGEVILLE, Jeanne "Just Beautiful" Lemon Scovill, 91, passed away from natural causes in Ferron, Utah on July 5, 2020. Jeanne was born September 6, 1928 to Arthur Andrew and Irena Ralphs Lemon in Ferron, Utah. Jeanne married Claude E. Scovill March 8, 1948 and resided in Orangeville for most of their 66 years of marriage. Together they had 5 children, Claudia (Rick) Strong, Dennis (Nancy) Scovill, Garth (Ilise) Scovill, Irene Craker and Michele (Brad) Sweeten. They have 23 grand children and 17 great grandchildren. Jeanne was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held various positions. She served with her whole heart and soul and loved helping others. She and her husband, Claude, served 18 months in the Ottowa, IL mission in 1984. Jeanne was a long-time member of the American Legion Auxiliary and with her husband, Claude, was instrumental in bringing the Auxiliary to Orangeville. She went on to be a District Auxiliary President. She was active in Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Jeanne loved music and had a passion for entertaining people by playing the piano. She volunteered her talents freely for church services as well as entertaining the residence at the Emery County Care Center and Senior Citizen Center for several years. As a result of her devotion in the communities, she was honored to receive the "Silver Bowl Award" in 1996. Jeanne enjoyed getting out in nature, fishing, camping, gardening and rides up to Joe's Valley spotting deer. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Claude Scovill, siblings Ralph Lemon, Mae and John Barton, Maxine and Bruce Jensen, Beth and Bruce Jensen, and her son-in-law Rick Strong. A viewing will be at Heritage Funeral Home, 620 North Main, Huntington on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 6:00-8:00 pm. Services will be held at the Orangeville Ward Church Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing one-hour prior. Interment will follow in the Orangeville Cemetery.
